Many people looking for a dentist also need a doctor, and this group lists the medical clinics, family physicians, urgent care and walk-in centers, hospitals, pediatricians, eye doctors, medical specialists and pharmacies near the dental practices on the site. Primary care in the US runs through family doctors and internists who coordinate referrals; urgent care centers handle minor injuries and illnesses without an appointment for far less than an emergency room; hospitals with emergency departments are the place for severe facial trauma or a dental infection that spreads. Pharmacies fill the antibiotics and pain medication a dentist prescribes and sell fluoride rinses and prescription-strength toothpaste.

The business lists hours on 4 days of the week. Typical hours are 9 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. I was a patient at this clinic, and like many others, I faced financial and transportation issues. Unfortunately, I had to cancel quite a few appointments due to my lack of transportation. I explained this situation in detail to Karen Chow and other staff members, but to no avail. Finally, when I managed to get there, it was already a day late. At that point, Karen Chow kicked me out without any reasonable conversation. She just told me to leave and not come back, citing that I had missed too many appointments. Despite my attempts to communicate my problems with the staff, they never offered solutions. Consequently, I was unable to get the medication I needed, and my health deteriorated to the point of near death. It's disheartening to see how facilities like this fail to provide essential assistance to those needing it most. The worst part is they knew the problems I was having but made it seem like I wasn't serious about being there and used it as an excuse to get rid of me. I am now showing improvement from the damage Karen Chow and the free clinic caused. They literally almost killed me. Because of them, I nearly died. They are horrible people.

Maria Fries made it impossible to get any help and I’m very sick with many chronic illnesses and no insurance and can’t work Disability is easier to work with and takes about as long! I’d rather stay sick or move out of this state than to feel I’m begging someone for help no matter how much I need it! I’ve needed heart surgery for over a year and although I sent her everything she asked for it took her sixty days to tell me application had expired and needed to apply for Medicaid to get another denial letter (30 plus days) and continue with process! I’ve never been treated the way healthcare β€œprofessionals β€œ treat people in cabarrus county and I hope I never have to again! I will relocate out of state first
